I am currently working as a Sr. Linux Administrator/DBA for NPR in Washington D.C.  For the past four years I have been focused on all things Linux/Debian related, Oracle to Mysql migrations, website performance and scaling, exploring virtualization technologies such as OpenVz and KVM, and benchmarking next generation Linux filesystems such as Btrfs, Zfs, Gluster, etc.
